About Hawthorn House
Hawthorn House runs its own bar on site, which sets it apart from the average Blackpool guesthouse and gives the place a sociable, lively atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Rooms mix casual and more traditional styles, so guests can expect a varied look depending on where they're placed, but all come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in the room. Family rooms are on offer too, and reception operates around the clock for guests coming and going at odd hours.
The address at 10 Bairstow Street puts guests within reach of Blackpool's seafront and its main attractions, with free WiFi and parking helping to smooth out the practical side of a stay. Nearby options extend to golf, fishing, watersports, cycling and walking routes, plus a good spread of pubs, bars, restaurants and entertainment on the doorstep for evenings out.
It suits guests after a sociable base with a bit of character rather than a quiet retreat, given the bar and buzz that come with it.

Holiday 23/5/25 to 31/5/25 We had a lovely time in your lovely hotel. We were greeted by Ellie and Cameron, who were so friendly and welcoming and we had water and milk on arrival and we made use of the onsite bar which is well stocked and they also cater for children's drinks and children's cocktails in which our kids thoroughly enjoyed. They also have a fruit machine and pool table on the premises, and this hotel does not do breakfast. Because there is a lovely family run cafe called Walkers right next door in which we found very reasonable. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, to which we have booked a return visit for October 2025 . Thank you again, and we hope to see you all in October Mark,Hayley,Mia and Thomas

Excellent place to stay, comfy beds, clean room, soft towels and even a little fridge in the room. The service was above and beyond. The owners really helped us out, can't recommend Hawthorn House enough, thank you.

Just spent 2 nights and definitely recommend if you’re staying in Blackpool. The owners are super friendly. Helped us with all our things to the car (we over packed). Nice and quiet with couples and families staying. We were two women staying together and felt very safe here. Yes you can get cheaper stays in Blackpool but this standard is certainly worth paying a little bit more. Parking on the street or car park close by, £24 for 48 hours. 2 min walk to the main front. 10-15 min walk to north pier promenade. Rooms clean and tidy with little touches like mini fridge and fluffy blankets. Towels provided, they give you milk and water on arrival.
