About Lyndene Hotel

Lyndene Hotel occupies a sizeable stretch of the Promenade at 303/315, its long frontage looking out towards the sea in the heart of Blackpool. It's the kind of substantial seaside hotel built for holidaymakers, with plenty of rooms and communal space to match, and it sits within easy reach of the Tower and Winter Gardens.

Rooms come as en-suite doubles and family options, with drinks available in room and a lift serving the upper floors, though those needing step-free access should check ahead as accessibility around the building can be inconsistent. Guests get free WiFi throughout, and there's a restaurant and bar on site alongside a snack bar and games room for quieter evenings. Breakfast is a particular strength, with cooked options and lighter choices both on offer, and the kitchen also turns out evening meals for those not venturing out. Entertainment runs through the week, a mainstay of the hotel's appeal alongside staff who are consistently described as helpful.

Free on-site parking makes driving up straightforward, and the seafront location puts golf, fishing, watersports, pubs and restaurants all within easy striking distance. Luggage storage and laundry service are also available for longer stays.

My wife and I stayed for 1 night in the Lyndene Hotel. Based on our experience we would not be able to recommend this establishment. Unfortunately, we were unable to book directly with the hotel which resulted in us paying £145 for a £85 room. Although the room was clean, it was dated and very small. The room was unbearablely hot, resulting in a very uncomfortable nights sleep (no fans are provided in the rooms, to cool you down). We cannot pass comment on the food as we decided not to dine at this establishment. The bar was like stepping back into the 80s, however the drinks were reasonably priced. Due to the increased temperature within the room we had to sleep with our window open. The noise from outside was noticeable until beyond 3 am (on a midweek visit). All the staff were friendly we arrived early, and the staff allowed us to check in (before the room was ready) in order to park our car at no financial cost. The location of the hotel is in a great ,equidistant between The Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Tower. In conclusion if you wanting a restful night sleep this is not the place to stay.

I had a brilliant stay from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout. From the moment I entered reception, I was welcomed by wonderful and attentive team members who made everything easy. The rooms were clean, tidy, and spacious, which made the stay very comfortable. The layout of the hotel is a bit of a maze, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Breakfast was another highlight—the staff provided fantastic service and were very attentive. Overall, a great stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Just got back from Lyndene Hotel after a 2 x night stay for our 54th wedding anniversary, we stayed in a small twin room with sea view which was clean and tidy and nice and warm. We stayed B&B which was very nice, the staff was friendly and helpful and the entertainment was very good. location was ok for us, a leisurely walk along the prom to the tower or get a day pass on the tram, tram stop 100yds from the hotel. The only criticism we had was we were on the 2nd floor above the hotel entrance and found it a bit noisy due to inconsiderate people stood outside being very rowdy after midnight etc, (but that is not a criticism of the hotel) All in we had a lovely stay at this hotel and would come again..

Stayed here for a mon-Fri DBB at a bargain price. You cannot moan at all for what you get from this hotel considering what you pay. There was one thing that let this hotel down was the ginger man bar staff, he was so rude and the worst attitude I have ever come across, he definitely needs to take a course in. Hospitality or just find another job as he clearly isn’t happy with the one he’s got. I would like to give a big shout out to all the staff in the breakfast and dinner hall though who do go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need specially Tracey who was really lovely. The entertainment was good so all in all really good hotel just swerve the ginger bloke who serves behind the bar
