About Lyndhurst Hotel
Rooms at Lyndhurst Hotel come with en-suite bathrooms and the option of family accommodation, plus drinks available in room for those who want to settle in without heading straight down to the bar. Standards vary, though: some rooms are kept clean and tidy, while others can feel a little tired and short on basic extras, so it is worth setting expectations accordingly for a budget stay.
The B&B sits on Station Road in Blackpool, Lancashire, with chargeable on-site parking for anyone arriving by car. Downstairs there is a bar, a snack bar, a games room and breakfast included, with 24 hour reception and laundry service covering the practical side of a stay. Kids meals are available too, making it a straightforward base for families.
Its location is a genuine strength, with Pleasure Beach and South Pier both within easy reach, and the wider area offering cycling and walking routes, golf, fishing, horse riding and watersports nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment close by. Staff are generally noted as friendly, which helps smooth over the rougher edges of an otherwise no-frills stay.

You don't expect much when you book a cheap room online but at least make an effort. Place smells foosty toast and beans for £20 breakfast? Sachets of coffee at the breakfast table no hot water in the urn. The bedrooms are very small with a disability it was very hard to get around the room the bathroom was not the most hygienic could do with a deep clean there is only one man running the the whole place and you constantly have to ask for things which he doesn't understand there was a child here with his father that had stayed before who showed me and my partner where everything was there host of the place did not speak very the breakfast was an absolute disgrace just left it there and took my kids out for something. I've had tonnes of budget stays and none were ever as bad as this we ended up going across the road. It's one guy doing this on his own but could make an effort even before we arrived we only booked one night and he messaged us asking if we can check in at 7:30 ridiculous that

Called ahead of time to say that I'll be arriving at about midnight as I had travelled from norwich via London by two coaches and a train, but after two further calls and a 30min wait I eventually made it into the room. I did notice that my details ware written in a book and left on the bar, this is against data protection as it had my name address telephone number and date of birth. Breakfast was not the bestast there was no choice of eggs and the sausages were griddled tinned hotdogs. I had to ask for coffee. The hotel is situated just 2 min walk to South pier and about 5 mins from pleasure Beach tucked away in a quiet back street so it's ideally situated. It just needs an update and a few repairs, one of witch is can annoying beeping sound comming from the fire alarm control panel, not entirely sure what that was about 🤞. There is a bar but it's not licensed yet so it can only sell soft drinks and snacks. Would I come here again? Yes.
