About Premier Inn Blackpool North Pier

Premier Inn Blackpool North Pier suits families, couples and groups after a straightforward, well-placed seaside stay rather than anything fancy. With 150 rooms across six floors, it's built for steady turnover of holidaymakers who want to be near the action without paying resort prices, and the rate range from budget to mid-market reflects that flexibility.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks available in-room, and many look out over the sea or across the city towards the Tower. Beds are a strong point, and the space on offer is generous for the price, though a few rooms could do with better upkeep. A restaurant and bar on site cover breakfast and evening meals, with a buffet breakfast that guests rate as good value, and staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful. Accessible rooms, a lift and 24 hour reception round out the practical side.

The location on Clifton Street puts guests close to Blackpool Tower, the Winter Gardens and the tram line running along the promenade, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment all within easy reach. Golf, fishing and watersports are also nearby for those wanting more than the seafront. Parking isn't on site, but the nearby West Street Multi Storey Car Park is about five minutes on foot, worth checking against your budget before you arrive.

This hotel is easily found from Blackpool North train station and the hotel itself is actually opposite Blackpool North pier by the seafront. Our room itself looked out into the North pier. Although this hotel was surrounded by nightclubs you can't actually here a sound through the windows at all. As I am a wheelchair user I was in an accessible room with my housemate. The room was massive extremely clean and well presented. Unlike some accessible hotel rooms thos room had 3 chairs well done premier inn. The staff here were awesome, very friendly and extremely accommodating, even to the point of we accept certain things with an accessible room that was a nice touch thank you. The restaurant on site here is on -1 level and had it's own wheelchair accessible lift entrance how cool is that. Breakfast here is 9.99 each for an unlimited continental breakfast and it's nice.

A very average Premier Inn, appears nice on the outside but issues in the room. We had stains on our bedsheets, took them off and noticed a bigger stain on the duvet. Told reception but had to change the sheets ourselves as there was no housekeeping to do it. Main bed frame extremely creaky. Spare bed mattress terrible, hard and my children had poor sleeps on it. Our room (501) was next to the lift shafts so could hear them going up and down in the morning. Bedroom wall had thick dust on. Curtains had yoghurt(?) on them. Furniture damaged. Carpet looked and felt unclean. Toilet roll not replenished for us. Receptionists generally felt unwelcoming, no smiles and curt responses to questions. Not once asked how our stay was. Location quite good with bars and restaurants nearby, but a 45 minute walk to Pleasure Beach. Breakfast was standard Premier Inn stuff, but only 1 chef working so food was slow to be replenished. Wouldn't stay here again. Would ask for my money back via Premier Inn guarantee if it wasn't so complicated.

We have just stayed for 2 nights. We have stayed at this premier inn numberous of times as we have family in blackpool. On arrival we didnt feel very welcomed by a member of staff possibly a manager called Will he came across rude and made us feel like we wasn't welcome, he didnt want to talk to us untill 11 clock when we could check in. At 11 clock we were given a room on arrival to the room we found the cleaner in the room which i think her name was kaitleen who told us we shouldnt of been let to the room it wasnt ready for another 15 mins like it was our fault and said that ok i said not really we have paid for an early check in. We went back down to reception and the lady on reception that day who was friendly and helpful sorted this for us along side Will. My 11 year old son also heard the cleaner talking about me in the corridor saying i was rude to her which was completey untrue and unprofessional. After the negatives id like to add some postives great location clean rooms all other staff were great and welcoming and restraunt staff were great and id also like to mention we were in the lift with a member of staff Blake and the lift made a weird jolt so Blake stayed in the lift with us to make sure we got out fine. Blake was very friendly and chatty with us what a great member of staff he is.

Location of the hotel is excellent! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room however was a bit of a let down. Whilst I don’t expect a 5 star room it could have at least been fully cleaned. The headboard was covered in dust, the top of it hadn’t been cleaned at all and you could see a line where I wiped my finger across it the dust was that bad. The hoovering and moping hadn’t reached the edges of the room or bathroom and was dirty. The mirror had been cleaned but had massive smears all across it so could t really see. Also I upgraded my room to a room with a view however whilst I could see the top half of the tower, most of my view was the sky which I could see from any room. I was also on the 5th floor which meant there was the lip of the roof covering a good chunk of the view out of the window. Not really the view I thought I was paying for and actually wish I never bothered to pay for the upgrade as I feel robbed of that extra money
