About Rutlands Hotel

Blackpool Tower and the Winter Gardens are both within easy reach of Rutlands Hotel, making this a practical base for exploring the town's main attractions on foot. The Hornby Road address puts guests near the resort's central sights without needing to rely on public transport, and free on-site parking is available for those arriving by car.

The hotel has 12 rooms and keeps things straightforward, with breakfast included each morning and 24 hour reception for guests coming and going at different times. Free WiFi is available throughout, and luggage storage is on hand for early arrivals or late departures.

It suits visitors after a no-frills stay close to Blackpool's attractions rather than a destination in its own right, with the seafront, Tower and Winter Gardens all forming a natural focus for a day out from the door.

The room is to small and not the best decoration and the view out of the window is horrible and the mattress on the bed is horrible and uncomfortable as are the pillows and even with the heating on the room is cold. Glad I had a big blanket with me to have on the bed as well. The plumbing system is noisy and the TV in the room cannot be tune in and not use able. The bathroom door is hard to open and shut. The breakfast was nice and give credit to the man that cooks it all. Would I stay here again 🤔 NO and would I visit Blackpool again 🤔 NO. The owners were pleasant.

Ok, but definitely better b&b's to choose from. Fantastic location for Coral Island/Central Pier/Blackpool Tower. Bed very comfortable and an ok sized room with a view of Blackpool Tower, which was great. Internet passable but a bit patchy at times. Breakfast is at 9am only, if you miss it, you miss it! Tbh we had a very late night's, so no way breakfast was an option for us either morning. No shower gel in the dispenser, so bought some from the shop opposite. Plug socket only on one side of the bed. Check out far too early 10am. We didn't dare ask the lady for a later check-out. Very rude at check out ordering us to put the key in the box before we'd even collected all of our bags out of the room! No 'good morning', 'hope you enjoyed your stay'. The lady simply marched off. Rude, rude, rude. I think this lady went to the Basil Fawlty Charm School for hoteliers. Alright place, just a bad attitude.

My son and I stayed end of August 2025. What a lovely hotel and host. Great location near Tower. The breakfast is absolutely special and I give that a 10/10, as I do the whole hotel! Couldn't fault my stay
