About The Georgian Hollies

Blackpool Tower and the town's other attractions are within easy reach of The Georgian Hollies, making Albert Road a handy base for exploring the seafront and central sights on foot or by car, with parking available on site for those driving in.

The hotel has 105 rooms offering traditional accommodation, along with a bar, breakfast and free WiFi for guests. Some rooms show their age and maintenance can be inconsistent, so it's worth bearing that in mind when booking. Where the hotel does well is on food and atmosphere, with a varied dinner menu, decent desserts, and organised entertainment including bingo evenings that keep things lively for guests staying in.

Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful and polite, which goes some way to making up for the tired decor in places. For visitors wanting a straightforward, well-located stay in Blackpool with entertainment laid on and the Tower and seafront close by, The Georgian Hollies covers the basics.

Fantastic holiday, everything was perfect. Service fantastic from Greg and Angel. Food good, entertainment always good especially the 80s night they had on Friday. Very cheerful. Pav the barman and George the barman were great 👍 looking forward to turkey and tinsel in November. Also engaged at madame Tussauds and they put on a song for us.

First day check in arrived and had to leave our luggage on the dance floor for 3 hours while they sorted the hotel room. Originally put us in another room when we had a wheelchair, but was moved to the bottom floor first room which was appreciated. Meal choices were decently varied, until the second night burgers where over 5 guests reported severe vomiting including us three and they had to tell the chef. Stomach pain, vomiting- I didn't particularly feel comfortable eating the meals included in the Tates Travel Price after that. Staff were nice, especially Greg and the Bar Staff who were very helpful in telling us what entertainment was on and guiding us around the holiday. Facilities basic as the hotel was only seniors. No complaints at all about room, very disability friendly. Alcohol decently priced just like a regular bar. Breakfast had a large variation of cereal choices but everything was incredibly greasy. Hotel is close to all blackpool tower and really accessible for the promenade. Third night meal was a dinner, absolutely lovely. Banging desserts every night with amazing selection and some of the best cheesecake I've ever had

Stayed here as part of a coach holiday. Single room. No water for the shower arround 8am. Stairs not hoovered throughout 5 day stay. Breakfast & evening meal service quick & efficient. Evening meals were very poor - nothing fresh, reheated frozen cash & carry stuff. Lift broken all week.
