About The Orbiston

Every room at The Orbiston comes with its own en-suite bathroom and a drinks tray, plus the option of a family room for those travelling with children. Free WiFi is available throughout, and 24 hour reception means arrivals and requests are never limited to office hours.

Downstairs there's a bar for an evening drink and breakfast is served to set guests up for the day. The hotel sits on Adelaide Street in Blackpool, with parking available for anyone driving up, and it's placed within easy reach of Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach for those wanting the classic seafront attractions.

Beyond the hotel itself, the surrounding area offers plenty to fill a stay, from pubs, bars and restaurants nearby to golf, fishing, cycling and walking routes, along with watersports and other entertainment close by. It suits guests who want a straightforward base with the essentials covered rather than an elaborate resort experience.

Well. Where do I start on this so called establishment. First of all, we arrived the room was not as advertised at all! The room drunk of wet dog, shower drain was full of hair. When I approached the so called manager name Jacqui she had the audacity to laugh in my face and say the room had be cleaned. Cleaner by who? Hagrid! I was here with my partner for a night away from peace. Well peace was not what met me. Kids running around and when she was approached another guest of the hotel she made the poor woman and her kid cry! Definitely will not be staying in this hovel again! Advise anyone with half a brain cell to do the same and AVOID

Had my 9year older crying and scared because there was an error with the booking and owner decided she would scream and shout at us when arriving back at the hotel using foul language! Stinking of alcohol and being aggressive telling us to get in! This could have been amended and dealt with if she listened... we had the right amount of bed so didn't give it a thought that the booking was missing a child of.Will not be returning appreciate the apology I got the next day and the return of the keys I left in the room but my daughter was so upset and told everyone at her dance competition about this hotel! Such a shame as the hotel was actually nice and clean and breakfast was nice.

After staying at 4 different hotels in Blackpool for our annual holiday, hubby and I tried the Orbiston for it's location and have stayed nowhere else since. We have just returned from our 6th stay at the Orbiston. Jakie, the landlady spoiled us rotten as usual and we look forward to another trip this summer as a celebration of our retirement! I cannot recommend The Orbiston enough!
