Llechwedd Glamping Tents at Plas Weunydd

Spent some time with my wife (and daughter) in a clamping tent here, not something we would normally do, but hey, you know what they say "you've got to try everything once". We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves the accommodation was ideal, everything we needed, although very warm during the day (not that we spent much time inside!) the supplied fans kept the temperature manageable during the evening.The scenery was brilliant, plenty of photos to look back on (the weather obviously helped😎) All our baggage etc was transported up to the accommodation by pleasant helpful staff. Any queries were dealt with in a pleasant and professional manner. Location is ideal as there are so many lovely places to visit within a relatively short distance away. The site hotel was lovely (nice bar!) and the staff very pleasant, we would happily use a clamping tent again here, but I suspect our next stay could be in one of the hotel rooms, but it's nice having a choice!

What a place! Me and my family stayed here for 2 nights but packed for 2 weeks 😂 We were offered assistance up to the pod, however decided to walk up with the dog due to travelling for hours. They did take up our 2 weeks worth of luggage for us though. When we arrived we were advised to open both doors and place the fan next to the door to get some breeze through and that they will cool down during the night, which was true. We purchased a pizza kit for our first night that the kids really enjoyed making which even got them off their phones for a good hour a huge bonus for any parent. We bought marshmallows to toast but it was too warm to light the wood burner so we made use of the communal fire pit. That night was the best night sleep we had in a long time so much that when we went to see if we can have breakfast at the hotel we also asked what mattresses they had. Overall we had the best time and couldn’t thank the staff enough and we can’t wait to stay again

We booked the Llechwedd Glamping at Plas Weunydd for two nights, so that we could enjoy the adventures we had booked with Zip World. On arrival the staff were amazing, showing us where to park and ferrying ourselves, and our luggage, directly to our tent. The tent was immaculate and they had even provided everything need to light the log stove. Even without the fire, the tent was warm and the showers were hot. Our son fell in love with the view and never want to leave.
