We recently stayed at this campsite again after our first visit last year, and once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Last year we booked the wire-fenced pitch, and this year we stayed on the privacy-fenced pitch as we have two reactive dogs. The fenced pitches provide such great peace of mind and made our stay so much more relaxing. The location is fabulous — close to the Cairngorms and many other great places that we explored during our trip. The site is peaceful, well maintained, and perfect for anyone looking for a quiet getaway, especially dog owners. The only suggestion we would make would be to possibly increase the height of the fencing on the privacy pitch, as we found one of our dogs was able to jump it. It certainly didn’t ruin our stay, but it could make the pitches even more secure for owners of reactive or larger dogs. We will definitely return again in the future.

This was our second visit & I can see a deterioration. I'll start with the positives... Great location - really handy for exploring & just outside of Blairgowrie town so convenient for shops, pubs etc. Dog friendly with fenced pitches so pupz can roam & stay safe. Access to secure off lead area - available to hire for hourly slots. Toilets, showers & water on site. Now the not so positive... Owner completely unresponsive when we arrived despite instructions to contact on arrival. Pitch had been taken by someone who had requested enclosed pitch. They had requested enclosed pitch & had no response from owner. We sorted it between us but despite calling & messaging with some urgency, still not had a response. Showers aren't great - one ran out of steam, as it were, just after wetting my hair do the commitment had been made. When it did start up was scalding hot & couldn't be adjusted. Didn't experience the toilets being blocked though. The whole site is very rough & ready, which suits us but not for everyone.

Booked on-line half an hour before arriving. It is what it says, a field with some enclosures what we didn't use. We were only ones on the field, so amazingly peacefull and chilled. Yes there is only 2 shower/toilet blocks which were immaculate (I've stayed in hotels with worse). Would defo return.

A lovely site, perfect if you have a reactive dog, or so we thought. The toilet facilities are shocking, blocked when we arrived, they were eventually unblocked but not cleaned. The following morning they were blocked again and didn't get unblocked until lunchtime. This appears to be an ongoing issue and in my opinion the owners should not accept bookings until this is rectified. We booked for 2 nights but left after 1. I have emailed twice and received no reply
