Boston

Boston's countryside holds several lakes, and this ground-floor cabin sits on the edge of one of them. No. 1 Lake View Lodge is part of a small cluster of properties set within 9 acres of natural grounds, with a paved terrace and garden furniture facing out across the water. The setting appeals to people who want to fish—a permit is provided, though you'll need your own Environment Agency licence—or simply to sit and watch the landscape change through the seasons.
Inside, everything is on one level: two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two singles), a shower room, and an open-plan kitchen-dining-living space with a freeview TV and DVD player. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. You have parking for three cars on site and the whole lodge to yourself. One small pet is welcome, provided it stays on a lead within the grounds.
The village of Old Leake lies half a mile away with two pubs, a supermarket and a children's play area. Fishermans Retreat is nearby. Country lanes through the surrounding area suit walking and cycling. The RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is five miles off. Boston itself is seven miles away; the coast at Skegness, twenty miles. No smoking inside the property.

What guests say
Stopped here with my dad in cabin number 1, his mates stayed in cabin 6, our cabin was lovely, built in kitchen, plenty of storage very clean, Rachel is very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Nothing but good thing's to say about this place, first time coming here and the place is amazing, fishing is brilliant, very peaceful, good amenities with the Co-op and chippy not far away and the pubs are a ten minute walk from the site. Met a few people who've owned there vans for a very long time and so that tells you everything about the place you need to know really. Trevor and Mark july 2026

Beautiful venue. Peaceful little place with lodges and caravans. The fishing lakes are well stocked and right on top of the accommodation. We stayed midweek in the school holidays and hardly heard a noise. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space including a large outdoor patio area. We will definitely be coming back.
