Lake View Lodges - No. 2 Lake View Lodge

Photo: Mark Wistow

Lake View Lodge No. 2 comes ready to use. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine; bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all included. A shower room serves the two bedrooms—one double, one with twin singles—and there's a living area with Freeview TV and DVD player. One small pet is welcome provided it stays on the lead within the grounds. The property does not permit smoking.

The lodge sits on a nine-acre site shared with other cabins, with private parking for three cars and a paved terrace for outdoor sitting. A furnished veranda overlooks one of three lakes on the grounds. Old Leake village, half a mile away, has two pubs and a supermarket. Boston lies seven miles off; Skegness is twenty. Fishing is available on the established lake with a permit, though you will need your own Environment Agency licence. The RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is five miles distant, and Sheepgate Equestrian Centre, where National Dressage competitions take place, is two miles away. Country lanes nearby suit walking and cycling.

Stopped here with my dad in cabin number 1, his mates stayed in cabin 6, our cabin was lovely, built in kitchen, plenty of storage very clean, Rachel is very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Nothing but good thing's to say about this place, first time coming here and the place is amazing, fishing is brilliant, very peaceful, good amenities with the Co-op and chippy not far away and the pubs are a ten minute walk from the site. Met a few people who've owned there vans for a very long time and so that tells you everything about the place you need to know really. Trevor and Mark july 2026

Beautiful venue. Peaceful little place with lodges and caravans. The fishing lakes are well stocked and right on top of the accommodation. We stayed midweek in the school holidays and hardly heard a noise. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space including a large outdoor patio area. We will definitely be coming back.
