The Wishing Well Inn Certificated Site

We visited as a group of 9 on bank holiday Saturday, 4 adults, 5 kids. As soon as we arrived we were warmly greeted by the landlord who then promptly passed each of the children a bubble wand, a sweetie each and some outdoor activities. The kids were absolutely overjoyed. We had a table booked inside, but given the warm weather opted to sit outside which the staff had no qualms with. There was a long wait for the food but when it arrived was delicious. (Sadly ran out of fish for the fish and chips but I believe there was an offer on the day before.) All of us were very pleased with our meals. And the landlord even offered up free ice cream to the kids if they ate all they're dinner which they promptly did. We would absolutely visit again. All staff were wonderful and we felt extremely welcome.

Absolutely outstanding. Food quality was amazing couldn't have asked for more on the service. Room was finished and decorated to high spec. Salv was absolutely top notch. A perfect stay all round Thank you very much we will be back

We were a party of seven on a Saturday night. The food was superb. The burgers had to be up there with the best I’ve ever seen, the fish and steak were spot on and my homemade pie was out of this world. To top it all, bread and butter pudding and apple crumble, both with custard, were delicious.

A lovely and cosy stay with a warm atmosphere and friendly hospitality. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would just suggest a bit of maintenance in the toilet, as the old pipes were a little noisy at night. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, and the owner was especially polite and hospitable. I also ordered the schnitzel for dinner, which was excellent. Would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
