Definitely 1 of the best campsites we've ever stayed at. In the week they offer a 'book 4 nights and pay 3' deal, which I thought was lovely. We plan to make it a regular visit from now on, and already have family members wanting to stay here too. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They're also very community and eco-minded, which get 2 very big ticks from us The site is spacious, very well maintained, with lovely views and a great dark night sky. There is also a big grassy space for children to play and 2 sweet little glamping pods in the form of gypsy caravans There are 2 showers and 4 toilets in the ladies (including a disabled 1). I never saw anyone else in them so can't judge how busy they get during the season but they're kept lovely and clean and although the shower wasn't hot enough for me I appreciated that safety aspect The cafe and bar on site are run on an honesty system, which hopefully continues to work well as having somewhere to sit with visitors was lovely. They sell hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks, a few essentials and the bar upstairs appeared to be well stocked too. It also offers a pool table, table football, other pub and box games The site also regularly runs events such as bands, yearly firework displays etc. These are open to both guests and locals The village is beautiful and only 5 minutes walk. There you can find a pud doing good food, and a village shop

Lovely campsite. Amazing space for children in the recreational field where we camped with a group of 5 families. The owner put out a paddling pool for the children. Games room fab, loads of choice, little shop with honesty box for drinks and treats. We loved our holiday thank you

Just took motorhome here for 1 night, we only live 3 miles away. Pitches were nice and spaced out facilities were good. We went to see friends who were the entertainment (singing and acoustic guitar) fabulous evening. Stayed for the Sunday lunch and food was excellent. It's a great little hideaway. All the staff were superb, it's a great venue especially if you have an event to celebrate. Well worth a visit.
