Westbourne's high street sits a mile north of Bournemouth's pier and seafront gardens. The area has its own character—independent cafés, restaurants and shops line the pavement—but you're within walking distance of the main resort with its cinema complex, arcades, galleries and leisure facilities. Sandbanks beach is accessible in the opposite direction, and Brownsea Island (reached by ferry from nearby) is a National Trust reserve where red squirrels live.

Apartment 5 is a one-bedroom flat on the second floor, sleeping two. The open-plan living space includes a television and DVD player; the kitchen has an electric oven, hob and microwave. The bedroom contains a double bed (4ft 6in), and the ensuite has a shower and toilet. Bed linen, towels and WiFi are provided, and electricity costs are covered.

The flat sits within a short walk of the sandy beaches and local amenities. Smoking is not permitted. One dog is welcome. The New Forest (with cycling and tree-top climbing) lies further inland; the Jurassic Coast and Corfe Castle are within a drive.
