Ocean Spirit

Ocean Spirit suits families and groups of up to six looking for a seaside base where everyone has their own space. The property is ground-floor throughout, opening onto a large terrace with garden furniture—useful for breakfast or watching the sunset after a day on the beach. Alum Chine itself is moments away, and the stretch of coast from Bournemouth Pier to Sandbanks is walkable from here, with a children's playground and coastal paths nearby.

Inside, the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area keeps the group connected. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and direct terrace access; the second has a double; the third is a zip-and-link that works as either a king or two singles. One bathroom with a walk-in shower serves all three. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine—and there's a 43-inch TV for downtime. WiFi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Parking for one car is on site. The building has a concierge service and communal gardens. No smoking indoors.
