About Boho Beach House
Boho Beach House occupies an 1880s Victorian building on Saint Michaels Road in Bournemouth, with several rooms offering views out towards the Channel. The house has kept a period character while working in a more relaxed, homely style, and its setting gives it a quieter feel than some of the larger hotels closer to the seafront.
Rooms are en-suite and include family and accessible options, with a kitchen and dining room adding to the sense of a house rather than a standard hotel. Guests have use of a restaurant and bar on site, breakfast is served, and there's free WiFi throughout. Extra touches include drinks available in the room, a garden, laundry service, luggage storage and 24 hour reception, while pets are welcome and free on-site parking is provided. The property also operates as a wedding venue, complete with a bridal suite.
Bournemouth's beaches and attractions are close by, and the surrounding area suits walking, cycling, golf, fishing and watersports, with pubs, bars and restaurants nearby for evenings out. It's a fitting base for exploring the Dorset coast at an easy pace.

Address Boho Beach House- 5 St John's Rd Flat 5, Bournemouth, BH5 1EQ, United Kingdom. Stayed here 5–7 April 2026 The location was good, however the overall experience was very disappointing. Prior to arrival, we were instructed to make payments outside of Booking.com via bank transfer (£50 pet cleaning fee and £40 damage waiver), which we paid in good faith following their instructions. At checkout, we proactively and honestly reported minor damage to a coffee table directly to the cleaner. After leaving, additional damage claims were suddenly introduced that were never raised during our, recent email communication or at checkout, which they added items such as a door, carpet and blankets. These were only mentioned after a honest review was submitted. Up to today no evidence has been provided to show that these issues occurred during our stay or were not pre-existing. We were then asked to make further payment via bank transfer within 24 hours, which we declined. This has now been raised formally with Booking.com. I would strongly advise future guests to ensure all payments and communication remain within the booking platform for their own protection. The damage waiver they will state does not cover ''excessive'' alleged damage ( which was not made by our pet). Myself and my wife ensured the property was immaculate prior to checking out.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for such a lovely stay at your beach house. The place was absolutely beautiful—stylish, comfortable, and so thoughtfully decorated. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, and we really appreciated the little details that made the space so welcoming. It was the ideal spot for a relaxing week, and we’re already missing the peaceful mornings and sea breeze. Thank you again for being such a great host. We’d love to come back again sometime!

Review – Experience at Boho Beach House / La Di Da Hotel (Bournemouth) We initially booked at La Di Da Hotel, but the host placed us at Boho Beach House, saying that the hotel we had booked was occupied by a large group of men. We were not informed in advance and had no option to refuse. From the very beginning, we experienced a lack of respect. The host told us that the kitchen “closes” at 9 PM, but did not explain that we would have no access at all after that time. We were also told that eating in the room was not allowed, so the kitchen was the only place available for meals. My husband has diabetes and needs to eat small portions frequently, but when we went downstairs after 9 PM, the kitchen was locked. When we asked her to allow us access to our food, the host reacted with anger and completely unprofessional behavior. Moreover, upon arrival, when we told her we were from Romania, she made an ironic and offensive remark, insinuating that I was “a gypsy” because I am brunette. This racist and discriminatory attitude is absolutely unacceptable! The next morning, we received a message telling us we had to vacate the room by 10 AM, even though we had already paid for another night. On top of that, we were threatened with a charge of £20 per hour if we did not leave by 10 AM. This is completely unacceptable and unfair. To make matters worse, our chargers left plugged in were not returned – initially the host said she would check the cameras, then later admitted that there were no cameras at all. Our holiday turned into a nightmare. We were disrespected, discriminated against, threatened with extra charges, and practically kicked out before the end of our stay. I absolutely do not recommend this property! The way the host treats guests is far from hospitality. I hope no one else has to go through a similar experience.
