About Hampton by Hilton Bournemouth

Breakfast at Hampton by Hilton Bournemouth is more than an afterthought, with vegan and gluten-free options laid out alongside the usual spread, and there's a bar and restaurant on site for anyone who'd rather not head out in the evening. A snack bar and outdoor seating area round out the food and drink offering, giving guests a bit of flexibility depending on the time of day.

The hotel has 120 rooms across five floors, all en-suite with air conditioning, and family and accessible rooms are available. Rooms are consistently kept clean and spacious, and staff are noted for being helpful, though some guests have found the beds less comfortable than they'd like. Other facilities include a gym, lift access, laundry service, luggage storage, meeting rooms, and an electric vehicle charge point, with chargeable parking on site.

Set on Upper Terrace Road, the hotel is well placed for both the town centre and the seafront, putting Bournemouth's shops, restaurants and sandy beaches within easy reach along with the pier and Bournemouth Gardens. The surrounding area also suits those keen on walking, cycling, golf, fishing or watersports, with pubs and restaurants nearby for evenings out.

Friendly staff but impossible to sleep due to creaking beds Check-in was fast and friendly, and the rooms are well-sized with good amenities like a kettle, iron, and a decent shower. Breakfast was good, except for the overly tough bacon. However, I cannot recommend this hotel for a good night's rest. The metal bed frame creaked loudly with every single movement. Despite reporting the issue to reception, management failed to follow up or fix the problem. It is highly disappointing that management's inaction makes the great service from the front-line staff completely irrelevant. A hotel must provide a comfortable sleep, and this one failed.

We had a wonderful stay at Hampton by Hilton. The location is excellent and made it easy to explore the area, but what truly made our visit special was the people. A huge thank you to Sasha and Victor, who were exceptional from check-in through to check-out. They were so warm and welcoming, especially with our little girl. The genuine way they engaged with her made our stay feel incredibly personal and created memories we’ll cherish. As the hotel is bed and breakfast only, they also recommended some fantastic local restaurants that we would probably have missed otherwise, which really enhanced our trip. Well done to the whole team for delivering such genuine hospitality. We look forward to returning again soon.

The hotel was lovely, clean, room very nice Breakfast hot food could do with being hotter. We stayed 5th July for a few nights the weather was very hot, it would have been nice to have some nice furniture to sit on and relax outside of the main entrance on the terrace not just a few odd chairs and a couple of benches, seemed a wasted area, a bit dull. Hotel is quite a steep walk up from the beach/pier so be prepared. Nice pub just down from the hotel called The Sun , also Miller and Carter restaurant, Mulligans food, drink and golf, Odeon cinema close by

Amazing stay. Staff at the reception and breakfast was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a lot of options. We managed to get a room with a seaview. Room was cosy with a little sofa, wifi was fast and TV was operating as it should. Bathroom and the room were clean. Air con worked with no issues. Would definitely recommend.
