Toppesfield Hall

Halstead sits on the Essex–Suffolk border, close enough to villages with pubs and shops yet surrounded by open fields. Toppesfield Hall is a renovated cottage on a six-acre estate where five properties share facilities including a tennis court, games room and sauna. The main hall and owners occupy the grounds, so you have your own space but are not entirely isolated.

The property sleeps five across two bedrooms: a kingsize on the first floor and two singles upstairs. Downstairs, a spacious living area opens to the garden through bi-fold doors, with a separate kitchen and dining space, utility room, games room and bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are provided. The kitchen has a full set of appliances for self-catering. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

Your own hot tub sits in the lawned garden, which also has a patio, furniture and a barbecue. The sauna is shared and booked in advance with the owner. A tennis court and games room are likewise available to guests on the estate. There is parking for two cars and an electric vehicle charging point. One dog is welcome. No smoking inside.
