Kawsar asked us to give a review to the Aladin joint, which looks cool. But we ate at Jasmine which is a completely different place. Not the cleanest and extremely loud. Then they added an extra 20£ on top. Not sure for what. Never saw this scam before in my life.

If you want a proper, decent, and tasty curry then avoid the whole Brick Lane. We are not sure if the good rating is legit or not, but we know that the food is far off from being even average- it’s BAD We decided to leave the premises and cancel the entire order not longer after receiving the starters. We ordered samosas which were coming straight from a frozen package, and the chicken tikka wasn’t cooked in a tandoor but a microwave. Then, to make the whole experience even more disappointing they made us wait until the mains were ready for them to again plead with us to stay and try the main. It was also apparent that the kitchen is not on the premises, and they bring in the dishes from outside (who knows from where). AVOID

One of the worst food in my entire life, everything looks stale, none of the good is Indian or North Indian as they claim (Bangladeshi it is) and they are cooked by bunch of people who do not know how to cook, yuck. One of the mates have had food poisoning post eating. Never again in my life will I eat here in this lane as none of the restaurants are different from each other, all have same kitchen When we complained about quality we were met with “we don’t care as we are so busy” I would give minus points if there was any

Max sorted us out. Greatest experience of my life. He recommended the paneer and the whole experience was incredible. Truly the best curry on brick lane.
