Wellbeing Walks Okehampton

We walk around Simmons Park every Tuesday as part of the Ramblers GB Wellbeing Walks. It's an absolutely gorgeous park with a circular walk and even easy access on to Dartmoor. The park is well looked after with loads of plants every season popping their heads up. The Ockment River constantly gives you the lovely sound of burbling water, which is really calming. You really couldn't ask for a better park, It's looked after extremely well. Oh and don't forget to try and spot the deer statue! 5*

Hannah Hill

Fabulous playground for all ages and large field here, plus some nice little trails around the woods on the other side of the stream. There is an enclosed playground for little ones and lots of great play equipment for bigger ones dotted around it (not fenced). Free parking on Sundays and a short walk into the town.

Pretty park and a crystal clear river. Good footpaths and routes leading up to Dartmoor.
