About Newton Brook Caravan and Camping

Looking for a quiet, family-orientated caravan park with generous-sized pitches in Somerset? Newton Brook Caravan and Camping near Bridgwater delivers exactly that. It's a friendly spot to overnight if you're heading to Cornwall (just a short drive from Junction 24 of the M5), or ideal for longer stays exploring the county.

The facilities here really shine – a spotless, contemporary shower and loo block, plus a communal kitchen with fridges, microwave and washing-up sinks to make mealtimes easier. Kids have green space to play safely and a smartly kitted-out games room, while the dog park's enclosed field is perfect for off-lead zoomies. The Taunton Bridgwater Canal runs nearby for lovely walks that'll tire everyone out (dog included). Located right next to a working farm, you'll often spot cattle and sheep grazing contentedly in surrounding fields, with gambolling lambs in spring and calves later in the year.

North Petherton village is a 10-minute drive for essentials and has a sprinkling of pubs and cafés if cooking is off limits.

Have my caravan stored here. The most secure place in Somerset. And I wouldnt go anywhere else. The owner Jane is welcoming and very accommodating. Lovely lady. We have also pitched on here and had the most peaceful weekend ever. Bathroom facilities are spotlessly clean and there is a laundry and a huge pot wash./ kitchen area if required. . And fresh eggs available daily to buy xx

Not for light sleepers in a tent. The campsite is located close to the M5 motorway. Which obviously makes it a convenient location when you’re traveling, but it’s really loud both day and night. But that’s not the only thing. The campsite has a lot of long-stay residents that apparently all have to get up at 5am in the morning, loudly greet each other and drive their cars over the gravel to work, on a Sunday? The owners are really sweet though. The facilities are modern and well looked after. First time ever seeing fresh flowers in a toilet building. 💐 It’s a nice place for one night, while traveling or as affordable temp housing. Wouldn’t pick this place as a vacation destination.
