About Hilton Garden Inn Bristol City Centre

A generous breakfast spread and a bar for winding down in the evening set the tone at Hilton Garden Inn Bristol City Centre, on Temple Way in the heart of the city. The restaurant also serves kids' meals and packed lunches, while snacks and drinks can be brought straight to your room if you'd rather not leave it.

The hotel has 171 rooms across six floors, all en-suite with air conditioning and city views from many windows. Rooms are kept clean and come with large beds, though some are on the compact side, so it suits guests who don't need much space to spread out. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, which goes some way to making up for that. Facilities extend to a gym, meeting rooms and business services, plus laundry, luggage storage and accessible rooms for those who need them.

Its position makes it easy to reach Temple Meads station, Cabot Circus and the Harbourside attractions on foot, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment all close by. Onsite parking is available for a charge, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for guests arriving by car. Golf, fishing and watersports are also within reach nearby for those wanting to venture further afield.

Peter on reception needs a raise. I am a wheelchair user and he went above and beyond to make my stay better. Helping me with check in when I forgot my car registration. Organising some food to the room so I didn't have to go to the restaurant. (he didn't know but I was not feeling the best that day). His kindness made the difference. I also witnessed him engaging other people with warmth. What a credit to you he is.

I stayed here for a work trip and had a lovely stay. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Peter in reception was excellent. The location is perfect and right next to a small park. Lovely and tranquil as the restaurant looks out on to it. A very quiet hotel despite it being near a busy road, so please do not let that put you off. I would definitely stay here again. Also very handy for the train station.

Great hotel. Perfect location close to the station and city centre. Staff as really nice and really helpful. They had lots of recommendations for places to eat dinner when I asked. The rooms are in great condition but feel a little dated. The air-conditioning didn't quite get them room to they low temperature I prefer bit it was still fine. The bed was a little hard and the pillows promise so much but provide so little. 1 isn't enough and 2 is too high so I didn't have the best night sleep. This is all just my preference though and I still very much recommend those hotel. The breakfast was what you would expect with a serve yourself varied breakfast buffet with plenty off options. They did get the scrambled eggs right though and they were still a little silky like they should be (unlike other places I've stayed where they are like rubber). All in all a great place to stay with nice and helpful staff.

I always try to book a Hilton as a Hilton Honours member. This location did not disappoint. Very clean and modern feeling rooms. Great value and very good location (10 min walk to city centre and to BTM rail station). Friendly staff. I would recommend if staying for 1-2 nights on a business trip.
