bit confusing to get into for starters. when entered only one staff member on the reception and the bar so waited a long time to be served. got the key card (didnt work) waited 10 minutes and had to go down and reset it. finally got into room it stunk of sweat. bed sheets and walls stained yellow. air con near door so couldnt feel it and wasnt cold. lamp doesnt work. only 2 milk cartons so my friend didnt end up drinking. duvet kept coming out of sheet and just to top my experience that i wont be re living there was a green snotty boggie/bogger on my bed sheet…

I booked a one night stay with Travelodge Bristol Filton on Friday 29th of May. I had a twin bedded room. Bed comfortable, clean and spacious. Getting into the Travelodge was somewhat tricky, however once I got there, I just knew this was the right place. I was met by Kamar (receptionist). She was polite, friendly and even when I had an issue with my toilet cistern, Kamar came within 5 minutes and showed me what was wrong. I had a very good night.

To be honest the room was solid, the service during my stay was great. However, there’s a high possibility you don’t get back unique things that you forget during your stay as someone would have kept it. The first was a special type of palm slippers at travel lodge Severn beach and now a unique adaptor charger at Travelodge Filton. These were properties I used just before checkout and forgot while bagging. Got home to unbox and then realized I forgot them. Called and they insisted I didn’t leave them behind. Terrible, just terrible.

A hotel in the middle of a roundabout sounds like the worst possible location however, it worked out beautifully! A lovely, clean well-equipped room and sound-proofed windows meant I couldn't hear any traffic noise, even during the morning rush-hour. After a comfortable and peaceful sleep, I enjoyed an 'all you can eat" English breakfast and was ready for my business meeting. Very happy and I would definitely stay here again. Next time I'll test out the evening meals too. Next door is a Costa and a Subway then across the road is a small Lidl. Spoilt for wc
