What visitors say
Another excellent stay here. This is our regular campsite when staying in Plymouth. The warden is lovely and remembers me/us every year when we come as a family or me solo when I visit family (cheaper than a hotel by far!). Good facilities, friendly other guests and very welcoming. Location is brilliant too as just outside Plymouth. We are returning soon for our annual family holiday. Looking forward to it

Perfect campsite in a fabulous location! Facilities are spot on, always clean and never closed. Warden was helpful and welcoming. Lovely fields to pitch in and lots of birds and nature about. Autistic 13 year old was made up to spot hedgehogs 2 nights in a row and the resident buzzard in the field opposite us kept us all entertained. Great location for getting to loads of different beautiful beaches. The negative reviews all seem to mention the people who have all year round pitches, cannot see how someone else's home obscures or impacts your stay when it's in a set space and the residents are all really lovely and respectful too. People who mention the facilities as terrible, let me tell you some stories about places we've paid much more for and had to wee in bushes... Had such a lovely trip. Will definitely be back!

We stopped here for 5 nights, what a lovely site. BBQs are permitted. The show bl9ck is basic but clean and looked after. There are some permanent residents who work in Plymouth, these were always very polite and chatty. The warden Jim is a very nice gentleman who always has time if you have any questions or need any help or fancy a chat. We had a lovely stay and would visit again and recommend to anyone else. Thank you for a lovely stay.
