Butterfly Roundhouse

This hand-built wooden roundhouse sits on a lawned garden with a private hot tub, firepit and seating, surrounded by open countryside with minimal light pollution. The single circular room spans 26 feet and combines living, dining and kitchen areas in one open space, with a woodburner for warmth and a kingsize bed tucked into the bedroom area. A sofa bed and two single futons provide extra sleeping capacity, making four the practical maximum. The walk-in shower, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and heating all come as standard, along with wi-fi, bed linen, towels and initial logs for the stove.

You get the whole property to yourself, with parking for two cars on site. The roundhouse works equally well for a couple wanting a quiet retreat or a small family after something different. South Walsham village is close by, and the market towns of Acle and Brundall—each a few miles away—have shops, restaurants and railway stations. Walking and cycling routes start from the doorstep. Note that there is no television, so bring your own devices if you want to watch anything. No smoking inside.
