What an absolute gem. Situated in a quiet quaint village Wayside is the perfect getaway. My room was clean and spacious with views out onto beautiful countryside. Lovely courtyard at the entrance with seating area. Continental breakfast wanted for nothing with fresh refrigerated milk, yoghurts, orange juice, cheese grapes etc. Lovely fresh bread, toaster, kettle and all you need to use. Shower room compact and spotless. I would definitely recommend

Absolutely fabulous house, really beautifully furnished and even decorated for Xmas. It felt like home and was very cosy. Some really nice touches such as the blankets in the living room. Well kitted out kitchen. Spacious with useful utility room to store extra stuff. Jacuzzi in garden, very private and easy to operate. Pub next door did excellent food. Also good Indian takeaway, Tamarind, in neighbouring village. Easy drive into Norwich but also on a bus route in to the city. About 20 mins to lovely beaches and very close to the broads. Quick and efficient communications from owners who were very thoughtful even producing a cool box for additional fridge space over Xmas. Would definitely stay again, we all loved it.

Stayed there a week ago, December 2024, if you don't mind cobwebs, dust, cracked, broken tiles in the en-suite with grout missing, dirty shower, dirty worktop where you prepare the breakfast, an uncomfortable bed with an appalling bedspread full of dust you'll be fine. The breakfast wasn't very nice, the loaf of bread was out of date the first morning, the cereal was in glass jars that were sticky on the outside. The fridge was a good touch but unbelievably noisy on a night and kept me awake. It most definitely was not as the photos showed, same room but very dated. So no, I'll not be returning and this is an honest review, I've never made a negative review in all my travels.
