Deer View Cottage sits on the grounds of Salhouse Hall, surrounded by meadowland where deer graze. The entire property is yours alone—a ground-floor layout with an open-plan living and dining space, a kitchen fitted for proper cooking, two bedrooms (one with a king bed, one with a zip-and-link that can be twin singles), and a bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower. Everything you need for a stay is covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.
The real draw is the private hot tub in the enclosed garden, where you can soak after a day out. There's a patio with furniture and a gas barbecue, bike storage, and parking for two cars. Salhouse village has three pubs serving food, a shop, café and garden centre within easy reach. The Bittern Line train station connects to Norwich and Wroxham. Salhouse Broad itself is a short distance away—a working waterway where you can watch boats, paddle, picnic, or hire a kayak to explore further. Walkers often take the hour-long Hoveton Great Broad Nature Trail. Norwich city centre, with its cathedral, castle museum, theatre and galleries, is 11 miles south. No smoking indoors.
