About Decoy Barn Fritton

A fountain set within a neatly kept garden is the first thing that catches the eye at Decoy Barn Fritton, a bed and breakfast on Beccles Road just outside Great Yarmouth. The garden doubles as a quiet spot for outdoor seating, away from the road, and sits alongside gated parking for anyone arriving by car.

Rooms are en-suite and come with a mini-fridge, with family and accessible options available for those who need them. Breakfast covers a broad spread of hot and cold dishes, and there's a bar and snack bar on hand for drinks or something lighter later in the day. Free WiFi, 24-hour reception and luggage storage round out the practical side of a stay, and there's also a spa and sauna on-site for guests wanting to unwind.

The Norfolk countryside around Fritton opens up plenty to do nearby, from golf, fishing and horse riding to cycling and walking routes, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment also within reach. Staff are on hand with local knowledge to help plan a day out, and Great Yarmouth's attractions remain an easy trip away.

After a disaster at our original accommodation we rang up this B&B and the owners very kindly allowed us to stay at such short notice with our 3 month old. Wish we knew about this place originally as would have loved to stay longer. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was amazing. The owners were so friendly and made us feel so welcome 10000% recommend this B&B will love to come back again in the future and definitely our first choice thank you so much - Mark , Isabelle & Finley

Me and my partner stayed here last year, while we were in the area looking at a camper van. The room was lovely and clean, the gardens were lovely, and the hosts couldn't do enough for you. Coded electric gates to get into the secure car park. From memory I'm sure we had tea and cake on arrival. We didn't have a breakfast so can't comment. Our stay here (although only short) was very relaxing.

We stayed 1 night. John and Suzanne greeted us on our arrival. They gave us tea, coffee and cake. Our family room had everything that we needed and more. Fresh milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, bottled water, etc. There was a good sized fridge, in the kitchenette. Outside there was a covered area with benches, table and chairs which over looked a very nice shared garden with lawn flowers and low shrubs. Also had hanging baskets and a fountain. There is a smoking, vaping shelter at the end of the lawn. There is plenty of parking, which has a security locked gate. Breakfast was fantastic. There was a very good choice of hot and cold food and drinks. John had a very good knowledge of the area, and was happy to share it. The Bell pub is in the next village of St Olaves. It is next to the river with a very large beer garden. Good choice of food is available as well as a good selection on real ales and ciders. Also has a large car park. I wished I could have given it a 5* for the location but there was quite a bit of road noise during the night. I must add I do live in the rural countryside, with no noise, so I would notice it. Great place to stay. Thank you.
