The Norfolk Broads sit on your doorstep here. Elm Loft occupies a quiet lane near Upton dyke, where the fishing and mooring basin marks the heart of this slow-water landscape. Walking and cycling routes web out across the flatlands; Norwich cathedral and medieval streets are 10 miles south; the north Norfolk coast and Cromer are within easy reach by car.
The space is an upstairs conversion with a double bedroom, open-plan living and dining area, and a ground-floor shower room. Large Velux windows flood the first floor with light. You get bed linen, Wi-Fi throughout, and enough kitchen equipment to cook proper meals—electric hob, oven-grill, fridge. Heating and electricity for the first week are covered; thereafter you'll be billed by card. A small enclosed patio with garden furniture sits outside, and there's parking on site. One dog stays free, though the garden contains a walled pond that needs respect. No smoking. Children under four are not suitable.
The White Horse pub is 100 yards away; a community shop sits nearby. Wroxham's river boat trips and restaurants are six miles off; Acle village with its shops and inn is two miles. This is a couple's retreat, or a single person's quiet base for exploring the Broads.
