Hilley Holey

Broadland

Woodbastwick is a small village within the Broads National Park, quietly positioned between Norwich and the Norfolk coast. The Fur & Feather Inn sits 600 yards away, and Wroxham's shops are 4 miles off. This gives you the rural setting without total isolation—Norwich is 7 miles south, the beaches and seal colonies near Great Yarmouth are 16 miles north, and attractions like BeWilderwood and the Bure Valley Railway are within a short drive.

Hilley Holey is a detached annexe with ground-floor living space: open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with a 42-inch TV and electric woodburner. The kitchen has a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook properly if you want to. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a king bed, the other with two singles—plus a separate toilet and a ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower. The property has its own courtyard and lawned garden with seating, plus parking for two cars. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. No smoking inside. There are 3 steps down into the garden and 2 steps to the rear entrance, though a ramp serves the front.

This suits people wanting to base themselves for exploring the Broads by boat, cycling the flat lanes, or visiting Norwich's cathedral and castle. It also works for a quiet break away from busier Norfolk destinations.
