Whitehough Outdoor Centre

Attended a recent Archery course. Superb venue that offered accommodation if required. I did not need to stay, so cannot comment on rooms. The classroom was spacious and tea/coffee was provided. Due to the weather free coffee was very much appreciated! The venue is easy to find, however just follow the green signs through the houses to find the parking and site. Booking was easy and communication was superb. Very welcoming on site and nice and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone. Looking forward to some more courses!

Our team recently visited Whitehough Outdoor Centre after working with their team to re design and develop their website. Before starting the project, we’d toured the site to learn more about what they offer but experiencing it firsthand was something else! What an incredible place, it’s hard to believe I’d never been before. Many of us, myself included, were pushed well outside our comfort zones, and that made the day even more rewarding. We laughed, supported each other, and worked together to tackle a variety of activities, finishing off with a delicious lunch. Whitehough is the perfect setting for team building, whatever the weather. If you’re a business looking for a memorable, energising day out, make sure this is on your list. The staff were brillint, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and safe.

Attended the Wreath making class with my daughter 3Dec. Hosts were very welcoming and were extremely helpful. There was a varied abundance of foliage available along with other accessories to personalise your wreath. We have previously attended Wreath making sessions with other providers where supplies were very limited however this certainly wasn’t the case with this class. Organisers were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We hosted a retreat here in May, we used one of the cabin rooms to host Yoga, Soundbath, Reiki, Meditations etc. Facilities are very good included kitchen use. We used the outdoor areas too as we were blessed with sunshine! Using the camp area for guided journalling which was lovely! Very peaceful, sounds of nature (we barely used our music in the end) We advertised our retreat as being ‘nestled in nature’ & we really were! The location is great, really out the way from any noises or roads, however Sat nav does take you to the houses down the road so if hosting an event here be mindful to tell those attending. Great service from the team from start to finish & with a self service approach on the day made it feel very relaxed. Highly recommend!
