What visitors say
Great little farm with a good variety of animals and plenty to keep the kids entertained. Everything was really clean, the staff were welcoming, and the café prices were refreshingly reasonable compared to similar places. Easy to find, well looked after, and overall a lovely place to spend a few hours. Would happily visit again.

Fantastic family day out. The whole place is wheelchair accessible with designated disabled parking and toilets. Lots of animals to see and interact with. Large indoor space for picnics if the weather isn't the best. We were lucky the weather was beautiful. Lots of areas to play and explore outside, suitable for all ages. We were a group of 9 adults, one of which is a wheelchair user and 5 children, two of which have Special Needs. We all enjoyed a family day out and cannot wait to return again

We had the most wonderful day today for my nephews birthday party. What an incredible place. The activities, holding and feeding the animals, the tractor ride and so much more!! My girls had such a great time. Thank you for having us and we will be back again soon xx

We visited Hesketh Farm Park completely by accident while looking for a place to take a break during a long drive — and honestly, it turned out to be such a beautiful surprise. The farm is home to a wide variety of animals including cows, pigs, horses, guinea pigs, sheep, lambs and more. What really impressed me was the amount of information provided about each animal — from how leather is made, to their gestation periods, how they stay warm in winter, how pregnant animals are cared for, and even details about egg hatching. It’s genuinely educational and very well presented. There are plenty of activities for kids both indoors and outdoors, so they can easily spend 3–4 hours here without getting bored. Some of the smaller animals can even be held, which is a big highlight, and you can also feed many of them. The entry fee is £8, which at first seems a bit high, but it’s absolutely worth it for the experience, especially for families. Overall, it’s a must‑visit place — relaxing, informative, and perfect for kids and adults alike.
