I recently joined C&CC and Cannock Chase was my first booking. Being close to home in Lichfield meant I was able to finish work, throw my kit in the campervan and be at the site in no time at all - perfect for a last-minute break for a couple of nights. The arrival process is simple - pull up to the entrance where there's a 'New arrivals wait here' sign, and one of the site staff come over to you at your vehicle. Anita was very friendly and welcoming. I'm a relative newcomer to the campervan life, and this was my first solo outing without my wife. Anita made sure I knew everything necessary about the site, where all the amenities were located and even helped me get parked up properly on my pitch. I honestly couldn't have asked for a more helpful welcome, she's a real credit to this site. The site itself is in a brilliant location right in Cannock Chase itself. There's a dog walk gate that leads you directly into the forest where you'll find no end of trails for hiking or mountain biking. I was there with my dog and I found the trail information onsite very helpful. You're also given a gate code for the main entrance, so you can come and go as you please between 7am and 11pm. There's also a visitor car park. Amenities are clean, well laid out and there's an ample number of washing up sinks, toilets and showers - certainly enough for a site of this size. I never once found myself waiting to use any of the facilities. Be aware it's quite a sloping site, so don't forget your chocks or ramps if you're choosing a grass pitch. The hardstanding pitches look fairly flat though. Hookup points seem to be close to every pitch. WiFi is available across the site, but be aware it's only fast enough for light browsing/messaging. Looking forward to returning with my Wife this summer! An absolute gem of a site. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

Extremely friendly welcome, lovely, lovely staff. Facilities are absolutely spotless and the location is amazing. We have three dogs and there is endless walking immediately off site, no sheep and the dogs were able to be off lead. An hours walk to the nearest pub which is dog friendly and serves great food, the site even give you instructions! Can’t recommend this site highly enough and will become one of my favourites- can’t wait to come back.

Really nice well maintained site with very helpful and professional staff (Haydn and Anita). If you are looking for somewhere peaceful with some fantastic trails for biking or walking then this is the place for you. There’s a small shop on site providing the basics and there are also neat and clean showers/toilets. There are also laundry facilities.
