What visitors say
DO NOT BOOK SLIGHTLY RESTRICTED VIEW TICKETS. It’s not an accurate description. Me and my wife could not see anything at all unless the actors were standing to the rightest side of the stage. Attached is a photo of my direct eye line to the stage.£ 12 was worth a punt considering we just went on a whim. HOWEVER; had we have booked good seats, the show was incredible from what we could hear. Actors are of the highest calibre, amazing singing voices and confident delivery of lines. They aced the accents as well . Staff are extremely polite and helpful, building is amazing, small enough to be intimate but big enough to give you a proper theatre feel. Still deserving of a 5 star review.

My Daughter performed here last Sunday. Lovely, small theatre and the seating in the dress circle was very clever so you could access seats and then fold down to sit on! Staff were friendly and venue and parking were really easy. Highly recommend going to see something here.

A very nice theatre, compact, intimate and olde worlde. We saw a comedy show. We were in F5/6 in the upper circle and luckily there was 4 people in the booth instead of the maximum 6. It might have been a bit snug with all the seats occupied. The sound was good and we had no trouble hearing the comedians. As you can see in the picture there are columns in view, however they are quits thin and not really an issue. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The bar area has limited indoor seating but has outdoor seating which could be used in nicer weather. It was nice and warm in there though. Prices are quite normal for a theatre. All in all a nice place to see the show, I would like to come back and see a play type show soon.

Wonderful historic theatre. If you’re ever in Bury St Edmunds do go and see a theatre production or a musical depending on what you fancy. They have so many shows you do need to book.
