About Peaslows Peak Camping
Perched on a family-run farm with sweeping 360-degree views across the Derbyshire countryside – including a glorious outlook towards Mam Tor – Peaslows Peak Camping earns its five-star reputation through location alone. Direct footpath access from the site means you can step straight into the Peak District's walking country, while the Peaslows climb challenges road cyclists. Evenings revolve around campfires and barbecues under that vast sky, with plenty of space for kids to roam and dogs to stretch their legs.
The pop-up setup keeps things simple: a unisex toilet block, three showers each for men and women, and washing-up facilities. It's a welcoming spot for families, groups, solo travellers and DofE participants alike. A playground, café and shop sit just a few minutes' walk away, while Chapel-en-le-Frith (five minutes by car) covers practical needs. Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton's caves and the Chatsworth Estate all make fine day trips from this spectacularly sited base.

It’s so nice but a bit windy

Brilliant little campsite. Just enough facilities. Nice and clean. Shower hot. Quite exposed and breezy but that was a nice relief from the heat. Some footpaths in the area. Very quiet which was perfect. The Olive Tree is 5min walk down the road. Great farm shop and cafe but open 9-4 so can’t get an evening meal.

This site has everything you need, a decent pitch (Mowed out so you have your own little space) hot water, decent amount of toilets, bins and also showers and a little sink area. We were only passing through for a couple of nights, but if we needed to camp longer, this would be ideal. small lane to get up to the field. But absolute stunning views there especially with the sun setting.

Great campsite! The toilets and showers were always clean and the washing up area was good. The pitch sizes are generous and you are given good distance between your neighbours. The views are just stunning!! Fire pits/ wood/ marshmallows are available to buy. There is a football net for kids to play at. Down the road there is a pub and it’s a short drive to chapel le firth and Whaley bridge. I will definitely be returning.
