About Premier Inn Buxton
Premier Inn Buxton sits on London Road at the southern edge of the town centre, a straightforward modern build offering the chain's standard consistency rather than period character. It is a short, level walk to Pavilion Gardens, the Opera House and the shops of Spring Gardens.
Rooms follow the familiar Premier Inn format, with air conditioning, blackout curtains and en-suite bathrooms, and the hotel has an on-site Thyme restaurant serving breakfast and evening meals. Parking is available on site, which is useful given Buxton's limited and metered town-centre parking.
It suits visitors who want predictable comfort at a fair price, families travelling with children, and anyone who would rather spend on days out in the Peak District than on the room itself.
What guests say
Stayed a night here and the location is good. About half a mile to Buxton centre. Air-conditioning in the room was very efficient and had been on when we arrived which was much appreciated 🥵. Had breakfast which was fresh and plentiful. The poached eggs were delicious 😋. Will definitely be staying again. Car park costs £6 for 24 hours.

Lovely room and staff. Restaurant not the best in a Premier Inn but satisfactory, the coffee machine was broken at breakfast tho. Lovely to have aircon too. £6 a night for parking and £5 a night for decent WiFi bumps the price up a fair bit.

A really good example of a Premier Inn hotel, very clean, exceptionally helpful and pleasant staff. Bed extremely comfortable, room very clean and spacious. Food was excellent, serving a great array of breakfast items. The cooked breakfasts were always fresh, well presented and tasty. Evening meals were also very good. Excellent place to stay for a short break and visiting various places, highly recommended

One night stay for a work trip. Just what you'd expect from a well run Premier Inn: easy to find and park, friendly staff, very quiet and comfortable. Decent breakfast. Even though there's a petrol station right next door you don't hear a dickie bird thanks to some very thick double glazed windows. I slept like a log which is very unusual for me while staying away from home. It's a 10-15 minute walk into town, passing lots of inticing pubs on the way. There's a gorgeous walk up to the tower if you turn left (away from town) and then right across some fields and up the hill.
