Suitable for larger group. Large open area is perfect for hanging out, cooking and eating together. Rooms are nice size and all located together at the geound floor.

We just had a 4 day/3 night stay in the Shavings to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary & cannot fault it at all!! Lucie & Andrew were amazing hosts, from the cheerful welcome, the happy Hello whenever we saw them in the yard, the delicious fresh eggs laid by the farms chickens, to the friendly farewell before we left, they were great. The Shavings was the perfect little retreat, clean & tidy. So many little things that many places overlook. There were even Champagne flutes in the cupboard for some bubbly on our anniversary! We would definitely recommend a stay here to anyone. I think we'll definitely be back at some point in the not too distant future!!

We have just stayed on the CL Campsite, fabulous welcome, very friendly and informative. The campsite is at the back of the working farm through the yard. Fantastic views over open countryside. Toilet and shower very clean. Buxton Brewery Tap House is about 20mins across the fields and do bar snacks.

You’ll struggle to find a better CL around the peaks. Showers and toilets are superb. Owners are very welcoming and always have time for a chat even though they’re running the farm and the accommodations businesses Highly recommend to all. We’ve been multiple times and plan to return every year
