We spent 4 nights on this site, and it was a delight. It is an adults only site, with no showers or toilets, but that was fine as we have all we need in our caravan. The pitches are all fully serviced, on gravel, well spaced apart, and well maintained. There is a large field next to the pitches as well, for dog walking. Before we came, I received an email from the owner detailing how to reach the site without any difficulties, and also with lots of really useful information about the area, which helped us plan where to go while we were there. There is also a shed on the site full of further information, and books as well. On our last day, I asked if we could leave the caravan on the site for a few extra hours, and they were happy to let us leave it there, which gave us another day in the area before coming back home. This is a site we will definitely revisit in the future.

Lovely campsite, 5 van CL with a further area for more vans (approx 10). Very friendly and helpful staff. Fully serviced, with water, waste and electric. However, unfortunately for us, the 10 amp electric kept tripping which was inconvenient at times. The site is well manicured, which is nice to see, especially on arrival and first impressions. The area is fabulous for walking, along the river / wash and into Deeping St James, where on our first night we had a chip shop delivery, absolutely lovely, but pricey. We also drove into Stamford which is a very affluent town. There are a number of pubs within walking distance of the site. This site has no toilet or shower facilities, using our own is not an issue. Very quiet at night and during the day and access is absolutely fine, even with a large outfit in our view. Would love to visit this area again, but unsure about paying the premium price per pitch again.

Wonderful little site. Amazingly tidy and very well maintained. Great welcome from owners who were most helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Definitely recommend and we'll be back.
