Glamping park in Lincolnshire with a 130-metre dry slope for skiing and tobogganing.

About Tallington Lakes

Tallington Lakes is a leisure park near Stamford that combines accommodation with an unusual on-site winter sports facility: a 130-metre dry slope where you can try skiing, tobogganing and sledding. The park offers yurts for glamping stays, alongside its other attractions and facilities.

Pitches come with electric hook-ups and water connections. The site has two sanitary blocks with showers, laundry facilities, a shop, LPG and natural gas stockists, and a swimming pool. There is a restaurant, cafe and bar on-site, plus a clubhouse. Disabled access is available, and the park welcomes families, pets and rally groups. Parking is designated and there is visitor parking too.

The dry slope means this is somewhere to visit if you want to learn winter sports without travel, though reports suggest that while staff are helpful and the leisure facilities are the draw, housekeeping of the grounds and amenities can be patchy.

I went to tallington lakes to get some ski equipment for my upcoming holiday. I booked in and dealt with Tom and he was a massive help. He was extremely attentive with helping me find exactly what I need and had some boots measured to fit. He took me through the process in great detail and helped me throughout the whole experience. He is a testament to the place. Thanks Tom!!

We just went tobogganing on the ski slopes so can only comment on this aspect. The venue is extremely clean, upon arrival you are greeted with a set of gates, you will need to press the button and inform them that you are there to toboggan. They will let you in and you can park up after you have gone left. There is plenty of parking. I would reccommend this activity for 4 year olds and above. It's great fun, take some waterproofs or change of clothes and it can be wet. Great for a party, the kids loved it and it's reasonably priced.
