What visitors say
One of the cleanest camp sites iv ever stayed on. Quiet, friendly, family orientated lots to do on site for the kids. We had a great time. We will definitely be back

We recently stayed here for 3 nights as we were visiting my sister and her husband in Peterborough. The price was very reasonable, no issues with the pod - it was clean and had everything we were expecting. We didn't know how to use the heater though, instructions would have been great as it reached sauna temperatures, we'd then turn it off and it would then lose heat overnight 😉. The facilities were good, toilet/shower block was clean, recycling bins easy to find. It would have been nice for there to have been a little bit of washing up liquid, sponge/cloth and tea towels though, most sites we've visited have had a small amount of the basics available. Being gated and in the middle of nowhere, yet only 20 minutes drive away from my sister was great, we would be more than happy to use the site again when visiting her in future 😊

Their booking confirmation told me they have APNR, I'm to drive slowly up to the barrier which will open and I'll be directed to my pitch. The barrier didn't open, noone came to help me so I left the van blocking the entrance and went into reception. The young lady started to book me in. Name, van registration, etc.I hate it when someone is on the phone when they should be helping me, so I asked her who she was on the phone to. She was trying to find out the code for the barrier. They dont have APNR... I drove to my allocated pitch, someone's caravan and awning was taking up the whole pitch. I walked back to reception, and a young man walked me back to the pitch to show me where it was. He also gave me my Welcome Drink voucher, the young lady with the phone had forgotten to. We got to my pitch and agreed that someone else was parked there. I was offered two near the shower block, a friend was joining me later that day. OK. The electricity didn't work, so a third trip to reception. This time, the owner came. He fiddled around for a while, we agreed that the top 2 sockets didn't work and so we could use the bottom ones. Then he said "You're not off to a very good start". He could have said "We're not off to a very good start", but instead tried to put the responsibility on me. He could have offered me a couple of free drink vouchers, but he didn't. There were 3 showers and 2 cubicles with a sink and hairdryer in the ladies for 48 pitches and 6 shepherds huts. Some of the notices were a bit worrying. A notice warning anyone caught drink driving will be told to leave the site immediately. The owners found it necessary to print and laminate it! No smoking signs in the shower units. Instructions on how to flush the loos. I had to ask myself what the owners thought of their visitors. There was a path for dog walking. Although there were several dog poo bins, there was also dog poo on the path. No driveover grey water disposal. We're supposed to use the Elsan point. I wouldn't want to have to hold a full grey water container to tip it into that Elsan point, it was quite high up. It also begs the question, what do they do with the black water? I understand it's quite expensive to get it taken away. Lots of dustbins and recycling. The best point was the lovely man in the café. The café itself was very noisy, it's in the amusement arcade, so he took our breakfasts over to the outside seating area of the closed clubhouse. Thank you!

Just came back from a 2 night stay in one of the glamping pods. I must admit I was very sceptical about the whole thing and as for sharing showers and toilets I wasn’t expecting to have a great time. But what can I say about this place It truly is a little gem, the pod we stayed in was clean and there was a smart tv, kettle fridge and even a microwave, the toilet and shower block was immaculate, and right next door the pods so no worries about walking around late at night to go to the toilet. There is a arcade soft play and bowling area for the kids to keep them entertained, also a crazy golf and play park which is ideally situated to the clubhouse so you can keep an eye on the little ones. There is also a a place to eat which serve a variety of food, the vegetarian section isn’t great but they were keen to play around with the menu so that I didn’t miss out. The customer service is second to none all the staff are helpful. It really helped to make the stay enjoyable and will defo going back. Well done guys keep up the good work.
