Whitstable May House

Whitstable's character runs through its High Street—independent shops, galleries, cafés and pubs sit alongside ordinary life, and Whitstable May House sits right in it. The shingle beach and working harbour are a short walk away, and from here you can explore Tankerton Slopes or follow the coast towards Herne Bay. Canterbury's historic centre is also within reach for a day out.

The maisonette spreads across two floors. Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining area with a smart TV opens to a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge-freezer—so fresh seafood from the harbour becomes an easy supper. A single bedroom and shower room complete the ground floor. Upstairs, the kingsize bedroom has its own ensuite. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included; heating and electricity are covered. An octopus mural gives the living space a distinctive character, and thoughtful details run through both levels. No smoking inside.

You have the whole place to yourself and can park on the road outside; a public car park is available at cost. The property sleeps three.
