What guests say
Great guest house, very impressed how clean and tidy it was. Heidi and Paul were very accommodating and friendly. Our room was deluxe with king bed, very comfy and modern bedroom with on suite. Room has nice toiletries included,as well as a fridge with chilled fresh water. Tea, coffee and biscuits also included. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast with plenty of options and Heidi made sure I had Vegan products which was very appreciated. The Guest house is a 15 minute walk into town down a path near the river, nice walk and comes out to beautiful park. We would definitely recommend Harriet house and will stay again if in the area.

Harriet House is a 15 minute walk, much of it on pretty wooded paths along the Great Stour River, from the center of Canterbury. Heidi and Paul were very welcoming and gracious. Our room was comfortable with lots of natural light. Paul is a chef and our breakfasts were first class. We really enjoyed staying at Harriet House!

We received a very warm welcome from Paul, and our bicycles were immediately given a secure spot in a small, lockable metal shed. The room on the first floor was excellent and tastefully furnished; the windows could be effectively darkened, and we slept very well in the beds. We could put together our own breakfast from a selection of items; a fully automatic coffee machine was available, and the fruit salad was fresh and homemade. Paul prepared the hot breakfast dishes; they were served piping hot on pre-warmed plates and tasted delicious. Many thanks, Heidi and Paul.

Really lovely stay here. Heidi and Paul are so welcoming and their place is located just a 10 minute walk from Canterbury's historic centre, yet still in a peaceful street. The room was very comfortable and modern, including a nice en-suite bathroom. Attention was given to every detail, from the tea-making facilities to the gorgeous breakfast. I would highly recommend Harriet House!
