We came here for our 25th wedding anniversary. The staff helped my husband to get flowers, champagne, card to the room. They have made it so special for us, and im so grateful. When we arrive the welcome was so friendly. Room was so nice and clean, very big. There are so many hotels in Cardiff but I'll definitely be back to this one again, hopefully soon. Thank you again 💓

It wasn't a bad experience by any stretch, but the rooms appeared to be very outdated. They could use a redesign or a little facelift. Overall it was a decent night's sleep. There were four of us sharing a room for a concert. It is literally a stones throw away from the principality stadium so that was really handy. There was no noise in the room for the activity outside. The only issues we really encountered were the lifts were really slow and not very big so you couldn't get many people in the lifts. If a wheelchair user needed the lift you would have only got one more person in at most. Also due to the concert they closed the road at around 1500, which was really inconvenient, and this was not communicated to us in any correspondence by the hotel which would have been helpful, as it meant we had to beg and plead for them to allow us up the road which they did. Overall, a standard night in okay accomodation. It was a bed for the night and nothing more really. Rooms adequately cleaned just very outdated, and the batteries in the TV remote had run out, they had been in the remote that long they were leaking battery acid. One of my friends went to ask for new ones at the front desk and they didn't believe they were out of the remote initially which was very strange.

I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Cardiff City Centre – perfectly located opposite Cardiff Castle and just minutes from the train station. It’s ideal for both business and leisure. The reception team were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful from check-in onwards, making us feel genuinely welcome. In the restaurant, Faiza was an absolute star! She was friendly, attentive, and provided brilliant service with a big smile every time. She really made our dinners special. Clean, comfortable rooms and a great atmosphere throughout. Excellent hotel with top-notch service – we’ll definitely return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
