This is such a beautiful location for such a cosy and atmospheric hotel. During our stay, we felt completely away from the noise of the outside world and were able to truly relax, unwind and enjoy some peace. It is an incredible place, and we are so glad we chose to spend our special days here. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our little break. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which is absolutely lovely. I would like to say a big thank you for the clean, comfortable rooms provided for guests staying with dogs, and for the thoughtful care shown towards our pets. There were bowls, a dog bed, calming treats and even a toy, which was such a lovely touch. Our little dachshund can be quite nervous and sometimes barked at people, but even then, all the staff were very understanding and kind, and we are very grateful for that. This is definitely one of those places we would love to return to. Highly recommended.

Stayed here with my wife and son and had a nice relaxing stay. My son was in room 3, a stunning room with its own patio and a separate walk-in shower. My wife and I stayed in Viscount room, beautiful room, full of character and a comfortable bed. There was a wedding reception on, but the disco was not overly intrusive. Had a great sleep and the breakfast was as amazing as the view from the hotel. The staff are all very friendly, smile a lot and seem happy to work there. The only criticism is that I found getting out of the stunning roll-top bath to be a bit of an athletic challenge after a relaxing soak. Thanks to all who made our stay memorable, we will be back!

We’ve just had our wedding at this venue and it was just an absolute dream. The location is beautiful with breathtaking views across Cardiff, the food was perfection, and the staff are just so lovely - they go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are all stunning, and the housekeeping team are so helpful. The organisation amongst both the events team and the reception team was faultless, and every single little detail was fully taken care of - we didn’t have to worry about a single thing because we knew we were in such good hands. We can’t thank everyone at New House enough for our perfect day, we couldn’t have imagined our wedding being held anywhere else. We can’t wait to return for some mini breaks, just so we can stay at this fabulous place again. Absolutely perfect, thank you! ❤️
