Taff’s Well Cottage

Taff's Well Cottage works well for small families or couples wanting a proper base rather than a room. You get a double bedroom, a twin, and a shower room on the ground floor, with the kitchen and sitting area downstairs too. Everything needed for self-catering is here—oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine—along with wi-fi, heating, linen and towels included. The enclosed garden has a patio, seating and a barbecue for outdoor meals, and there's a travel cot and highchair if you need them.

The village sits on the Taff's Trail, a path that follows the River Taff and works for walking or cycling at whatever pace suits you. Castell Coch is within reach, and the Museum of Welsh Life is two miles away. Cardiff itself is a 10-minute train ride, with shops, restaurants and cultural venues. Local amenities—pubs, shops, the railway station—are a short walk. One dog or cat can stay free. The property is non-smoking.
