About Coedmor Camping

Tucked into the Ceredigion countryside near Cardigan, Coedmor Camping is a small, peaceful site that draws walkers, wild-camping enthusiasts and families looking for something more remote. With around 11-25 pitches set in forest surroundings, it's a genuine wildlife haven where campfires are allowed and the scenery can be spectacular. Facilities cover the basics well—spacious showers, a washing-up area, and a play area for children—plus thoughtful touches like local produce, ice-pack freezing and pick-up from public transport.

The location puts you within reach of canoeing, climbing, cycling and coastal walks, with shops and a farmers' market nearby. Pitches start from around £25 a night for non-electric grass touring or tent spots. It's genuinely dog-friendly year-round and welcomes everyone from budget backpackers to Duke of Edinburgh groups, though the remote setting means you'll want to come prepared rather than expecting on-site luxuries.

Can not recommend enough, Ruth is a wonderful host who really goes above and beyond for each and everyone staying. We loved seeing the donkey's and sheep too. Lovely open field, stunning views and very, very accommodating. There is a little swing set too which is fenced in for little ones, lots of open space which would be great for families too.

Stayed here over the weekend with friends. Beautiful location and we instantly relaxed upon arrival! Well set up, very clean accessible toilets. Bell tents were amazing and had more than expected! Owners were so friendly and even took some of the children for a walk to plant strawberries and pumpkins! They got to visit the lambs and donkeys and were thrilled throughout our stay, meaning the adults could fully relax and enjoy, knowing the children were safe and happy. Great location for walks, getting around and stunning views. Can’t wait to revisit!

This place is amazing. Ruth's owner is great. When we arrived, she quickly came to allocate our tent. She talked to my little one and got her familiar with donkeys and sheep & how to feed them grass. The location is brilliant- nice and quiet with the facility of a proper toilet room and an open-air shower with a hot water. Beds in the tent are comfortable and full bedding provided. The site is idle for families and kids as they have got swings and slides & animals to feed Grass, badminton, football, cricket, etc. They also got chairs at pit fire. At night, you will see the clear skies of course, the weather permitting, You will see a Milky Way and glittering stars above your head. We were lucky and it was an amazing experience. Ruth made sure she came around after sunset to check the camper was doing okay, and if they needed anything she gave plenty of time and advice about the local areas where to shop where to eat where to go, which was amazing. Ruth is a wonderful lady and very helpful and so do her family. If you’re thinking of a Place to go for a few days, this place is brilliant. Also, this place is not far from lots of things to do. The main town is only 7 to 8 minutes drive. You must try fish and chips shop opposite to garage and definitely get yourself a wine from garage. Buy your barbecue meats in town from the butcher opposite to boots cheap and good quality. Buy the local eggs they are so yummy. must try Hive Ice Cream Parlour in Town does handmade ice creams with honey. Stay in at this place you will definitely not be disappointed will definitely enjoy and relax & enjoy the hospitality provided by Ruth. Keep it up Ruth👍. We will definitely return.
