About Trenoeth
Tucked into the Carmarthenshire countryside 25 minutes from Carmarthen, Trenoeth is a small, peaceful site that punches well above its weight for location. You're within an hour of Cardigan Bay's beaches and several theme parks, with National Cycle Route 47 just 10 minutes away near Dinas. The site itself keeps things relaxed: there's a wildlife pond where kingfishers, herons and woodpeckers make regular appearances, plus nesting ducks and geese if you're lucky.
Pitches range from small non-electric grass spots to larger hardstanding touring options with hook-ups, and campfires and barbecues are both welcome. On clear nights the stargazing can be spectacular – expect proper Milky Way views out here. Facilities are straightforward (showers, washing-up, recycling), though some visitors note the toilets can feel a little tired in places. Still, for a low-key base with easy access to South Wales' highlights, Trenoeth delivers.

What visitors say
Lovely owners where happy to help with anything. The hut itself is tucked away in a gorgeous area. The sound of the stream when relaxing outside was....relaxing! - note: there is no electric in the hut but the owners helped us get our phones charged over night for the journey back!

We had such an amazing few day's spent on this lovely campsite..the owners were so friendly & helpful. Everything we needed was there. The toilets & showers were clean & the washing up facilities good. We even had a firepit which was great for keeping us warm & toasting our marshmallows. There was only 8 pitches which is what we love. It was so peaceful & our dog's loved it. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A campsite as we like it, very quiet in nature with lovely owners who helped us a lot. We stayed in the cabin for 2 nights witch is very romantic and beautifully situated. Then 2 nights in our caravan. Great to make a little fire as well. Thank you all

Could’ve been exactly what you ever wanted. If it was advertised properly. Was advertised to include: clubhouse, shop, washing facilities. However it was far from it. No communication….. and no refunds…….. Good afternoon. However this is true. They did give us the opportunity to come back the following day. But unfortunately we traveled a long way and rebooked in Tenby afterwards. Also further to add, what was advertised on the pitch up site wasn’t there. NO CLUBHOUSE/shop/ restaurant. Which later was removed from the website. This is poor and false advertising. Regards Steve
