4.5 stars. There is parking at the rear of the hotel but the entrance is very tight. Be warned. Ian was pleasant and very helpful. Location was perfect for me. Just a short stroll to Nott Square. Room was clean and well kept. Quiet too. Breakfast was good. There's a small bar downstairs for a nightcap. Mini fridge in the room too. There's a lack of atmosphere due to its small size. One drawback is that there is no aircon in the room. There's a small desk fan which was fine for the weather, but I don't know if it would cut it on a hot day. Luckily, those days aren't so common. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel with easy walking to Carmarthen Castle and Merlin’s Walk. The room was large, clean, and quiet. The bath was also very spacious. The breakfast had a table with cold offerings with hot cooked breakfast. A quite pleasant stay.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, modern large rooms, extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. The twin room had two separate rooms with two double beds which were fantastic. Service was excellent and friendly staff. Full Breakfast amazing. Location perfect. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

We had a really pleasant stay at Spilman Hotel in Carmarthen. From the moment we arrived, everything felt comfortable and well taken care of. The room was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights of our visit was the breakfast. It was freshly prepared, delicious, and set us up perfectly for the day. A special mention to Iain, who served us breakfast he was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable with his warm service. Overall, we had a very good experience and would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you to the team for making our visit so enjoyable!
