Cowshed Cottages at Travellers Rest Yard - Cowshed 2

Rural Carmarthenshire sits between the quiet hamlet of Llanboidy and Whitland, a market town on the edge of some of Wales' most visited countryside. Cowshed 2 is one half of a converted barn at Travellers Rest Yard, restored in 2021 with a layout designed around ground-floor living. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting areas have vaulted ceilings and exposed beams; three bedrooms (one kingsize, one kingsize with French doors onto the garden, one with two singles) and a shower room complete the accommodation for up to six guests.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer. An enclosed lawned garden comes with seating and a BBQ. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating via air source heat pump are included. There is parking for two cars on site. The garden has three steps; the property does not accommodate wedding parties or smoking.

The Preseli Hills and rural walks are on the doorstep. The coast at Tenby and Saundersfoot is under half an hour away, while Narberth with its shops and restaurants is ten minutes' drive. Pembroke and Carew Castles are within easy reach, as is Laugharne with its estuary and castle.
