Cwm Hyfryd

Cwm Hyfryd is a converted barn on 5 acres near Whitland in Carmarthenshire. It has been renovated to keep original features—exposed stone, beams, oak and slate floors—while adding modern comfort throughout. The whole property is yours alone, with a hot tub for six on the patio and a lawned garden with barbecue and furniture. A river runs along the boundary of the grounds.

The ground floor holds an open-plan living space with woodburner and Smart TV, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, utility room with washer-dryer, and a sun room with patio doors. Upstairs are four bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and heated towel rail. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and a slipper bath in the room itself; the others are doubles or singles. Everything needed for a stay is included: electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and logs for the woodburner. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request.

The property suits families and groups needing space to spread out. You can walk to Llanboidy hamlet and its pub via a public footpath, or use the bike store and parking for four cars to explore the wider area. No smoking is permitted.
